Dairy Free Spinach, Bacon, and Artichoke Dip

Dairy Free Spinach, Bacon, and Artichoke Dip

Spinach and artichoke dip is a classic for a reason, its delicious and makes people think it is a little healthier with those leafy greens. Why not bump it up a notch and add some glorious bacon plus a spin of dairy free? This dip is super simple to whip together and have come out warm from the oven, your cracker or chip will be loaded with this goodness. Have some vegan friends coming over, totally a cinch to make this a plant-based wonder. Paleo, make it with nut-based cheese and dip your celery or mini peppers. So grab some greens and let’s make this bad boy.

Dairy Free Spinach, Bacon, and Artichoke Dip

  • 6 slices bacon (plant-based for vegan), cooked and crumbled

  • 8 oz cream cheese (plant-based for dairy free/vegan)

  • 1/2 cup marinated artichokes, drained and chopped

  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and liquid drained

  • 3 Tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 4 green onions, sliced

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

- Preheat the oven to 400

- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Spread evenly in a baking dish.

- Bake for 15 minutes or until bubbling. Broil for 2-3 minutes to brown the top of the dip.

- Serve with crackers, chips, mini peppers, celery, bread, or whatever you like

I love how simple this is, just mix everything together in a bowl!

You could serve this cold but we found the spinach a little tough to chew so you might want to chop it up a little more if you are serving this way.

Ready for the oven, I used my small cast iron pan which was perfect but any small baking dish. And that’s it!
